Russell Dennis

Russell has been training in the Martial Arts for the majority of his life. As a young adult he started taking Taekwon-do lessons which he continues to develop his skills and presently holds a 8^th Dan black belt. He is still very active in the Taekwon-do community working as an International Instructor, umpire and grading examiner with the International Taekwon-do Federation. Russell is 4-0 in Lightweight Pro MMA.

Steve Elliot

Steve Elliott started training martial arts at the age of 6, attending Russell Dennis’s Taekwon-do school. He now holds a 4^th degree black belt (one of the youngest in the UK at the time). Steve also holds a purple belt in BJJ from Ricardo da Silva. Steve’s love for fighting prompted him to pursue competition where he excelled throughout. Steve’s naturally competitive edge drove him into the sport of MMA. Steve has had over 10 pro fights.

Russell and Steve now manage the Extreme MMA gym in Surrey. With a full size cage, weights room, large matted area and a host of other training equipment, Extreme Fighters Mixed Martial Arts Academy is the perfect place to train whether you are an absolute beginner or seasoned pro. All aspects of the Mixed Martial Arts game are covered in the instruction, from stand up fighting to take downs and the ground game. We also have the luxury of guest instructors coming and taking lessons on specific parts of the game such as wrestling and submissions.
